- The race is on. Medical School applications can be turned in today and I have much work to do concerning my applications. My lovely wife and I have been working on them as much as we can and yet there is a whole heap more to do…actually, it's only the essays and from what I heard today from Steve, secondary's are going to be a whole lot more typing and essay writing. I hope my wife and I are able to do really well on these essays! I know that if I am patient and I put the Lord first, I will have help completing this important task.
I got another 28 today. 8 on the Physical Sciences, 10 Verbal and 10 Biological Sciences. I was so excited to see a 10 on the verbal section. I was actually thrilled. I felt really really good today for verbal/writing/ and Biological Sciences (bio was difficult yet I continued to stay positive and push through) When I was done with my first section I returned Rachel's call and she said that she was just praying for me. That just warmed my heart right up. I slowly yet surely progressed more and more. I loved it! I know Heavenly Father helped me out on that test, no doubt.
After a lovely dinner of homemade pizza I went for an 18 mile bike ride. Boy did it feel great! I listened to Elder Wirthlin's talk twice (the talk on Charity) I got teary eyed as I heard that apostle's voice quiver towards the end and I thought of Elder Neilson sustaining Elder Wirthlin throughout his talk. I want to be a doctor. I am made for that kind of service. My hope is that I can serve people in more ways than just medicine, yet medicine seems to fit me well. I will serve will in the medical field. I continued on with my bike-ride and came home (almost crashed as I stopped to type in the gate entrance code…) and finished at an average of 20.5 miles an hour! Great ride. I listened to MCAT stuff the rest of ride after elder wirthlins talk, studied kissed my wife and I'm off to bed. I love life! I like this whole blog thing.
