May 5, 2011
Perhaps I should write about this tomorrow when I have more time to think about it, but today I received a letter from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, informing me they have "decided no to pursue further consideration of (my) candidacy for the class entering in fall 2011." It was a letter I felt that I would be receiving sooner than later and felt there was less than a 1% chance of actually getting an interview there. I've got to get in my applications soon and I've got to score well on this MCAT. Jace Porter, a friend whom I've been studying with recently, takes the MCAT tomorrow. Bless his heart. I hope he has a clear mind and is able to successfully complete the test and score well!
I chose to go golfing today/tonight (I did well), rather than coming straight home after a wedding in Salt Lake city, where I could have worked on my personal statement more. I feel that there will be repercussions of every decision that I make like that. I must set clear and concise goals for my completion of the applications and also to score well on the MCAT. I need a miracle to get my 22 into a 33. Most definitely. There must be quick and efficient planning for that or else I will be in great trouble! I will consider and plan by Monday.
Until. MLH
